Our Mission
Jack's Playground Animal Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for orphaned neonatal and special needs pets. Our team works closely with these animals that need extra help.
Why neonatals?
Jack’s Playground focuses on providing care for neonatal and baby kittens who require extra attention. Fostering bottle baby kittens is a truly unique and rewarding experience, requiring a special individual who can dedicate their time and care to these vulnerable kittens. Many shelters are already overwhelmed with animals and may not have the necessary resources or time to provide the specific care these neonatals require. Newborn kittens need to be fed every 2-3 hours- they are unable to regulate their body temperature or use the bathroom independently. Our foster parents are familiar with their care and comfortable with keeping a strict schedule to ensure these babies not only survive, but thrive!
